am traveling to bankok next week and was wondering if it possible to
get a flue shot somewhere since there are none avaible in the u.s.
transfering planes in tokeyo. can you obtain fle shos at the airport
in either tokeyo or bankon. how about a flue clinic in bankok or an
english docor. are the flue serums universal? other wise, are the
ingredients the same for every country"
The influenza vaccines are universal, in that a large proportion of
the US anticipated stock was to be made in Liverpool, UK, except that
the British authorities closed a manufacturing plant down and so there
is a shortage of supply. The UK sources its own vaccines from several
suppliers and is less dependent on one source. However, different
countries may choose different vaccine combinations to supply to their
citizens depending on the perceived risks of different strains of
influenza virus (there is no *one* flu vaccine).
At Tokyo Narita there are medical clinics on B1F of each terminal.
