Have you ever dreamt that a friend who died came back to life?

  • If so, I'm curious as to how it felt to you. To me, I was happy, but at the same time it felt disturbingly unnatural, as if they shouldn't be here anymore. Dreams are considered real as they're happening, so this would probably be how it'd really feel. It gave me the sense that it's better to accept a friend's death, because they have moved on from this stage of life, and coming back would simply be going backwards and holding them back

  • well,my religion says that while dreaming your soul REALLY goes up,thats why u can see different things which may be real things.anyways,when you see a dead person alive that means that ur soul...or you had REALLY meet his soul!!


  • i really aint been through i mean i really dont think about the affects a deathnomoreit but i know that alot of peolplethat get's hurt gfoing through **** like thatandi be wanna to begod so i can help then feel betterit isreally hard to say goodbye when u looooozzout on something like a funeral or aget togathar or evan aweddingor some type of shitbut it is even hurtful when no one invited you


  • No, that's never happened to me before... but i have dreamt that a living friend died. It was soo scary/sad and then i saw him the next day in school and gave him a huge hug.

  • I dream about talking to people in my life who are dead now....we are always sitting at a picnic table. I always feel good after one of those dreams....but I wanted it to last longer.

  • I have had a few about my dad in the past. And like you said. Even though i felt happy, i had to keep telling myself that he shouldn't be here, asking myself why was he here. It all felt so weird, because even though your dreaming you just know this isn't right. My dad was gone for a few years before i actually started having dreams about him and it was disturbing. After having the first dream about him i really thought he was back with us. They went as quickly as they started, and i like to think he was just trying to tell me something.

  • Its not about my friend , but I have a dream a lot , that my parents were lying about my grandpa dieing . and he just pops out of no where and is like April Fools. And he is alive and it was all a joke . I hate that dream because I get so mad at everyone for lying and then when I wake up Im pissed because hes still gone....


  • I just had that dream last night. That's why I woke up and googled it right away.

    My very good friend passed away four years ago :( I often think about him but never had a dream about him no matter how much I wanted to. Last night I dream that he was still alive. I was able to hug him again, hold his hands.. He was so real sitting right beside me.

    I woke up realizing that it was only a dream. I woke up very happy because through the dream I felt really close to him again. I felt like he went inside my dreams to visit me. Now all the time we spent together is replaying itself in my head all over again. I miss him crazily.

    Just last month I told myself how I was starting to forget how he looks. Last night in my dreams I saw his face so clearly.

    If it is true that when we dream of someone who is dead as if they are alive means that thier soul came back to visit you. I hope he comes visit me more often.


  • My bff that died in February of this year...I thought I smelled him in my car. Like he was riding next to me but there's no way he was with me. It's weird. Or maybe he was with me? All I know is it's very confusing and makes me emotional all over again.

  • I dream of my dead uncle being alive all the time. I miss him a lot. He died 9 years ago and I still miss him.

    Also, once or twice I dreamt of my cousin, who died about 2 years ago (he accidentally shot himself, it was very tragic).

    In both types of dreams, I always dream the person is alive again.

    Also, someone close to me lost their mother when they were 16. He told me how much it hurt to dream about her, and then wake up and have to "go through losing her" all over again. It must be hell.
