Thanks so much!
I know a few off the top of my head, though.
1 & 4. Romans 3:23-25.
2. 1 Cor. 6:20
6. Heb 2:14
"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"
2. John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
3.Philippians 2:8
"And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to deathâ ” even death on a cross!"
4.1 Corinthians 15:57
"But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."
5.Romans 6:23
"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (I couldn't find a better one for this)
6. I'm not quite sure what you mean by "who formerly held the
power of death?
7. Matthew 20:27-28
"and whoever wants to be first must be your slaveâ ” 28just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."
8. Matthew 26:39 (this is where Jesus prays in the garden...you can see he does not want to die yet he submits himself to the will of the Father.)
"39Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will."
Hope that helps!
