  • Okay guys, again I am beyond New to this, Can you photoshop 35mm pictures if you get them on a disk?

    Thanks
    Ryan

  • Thanks rob, that is what I was thinking of doing!!!

  • You can go with either a film scanner that does strips of film or slides or a flatbed scanner with a 35mm lightstrip that'll do all your film AND prints. From there you're just scanning them to whatever format you want to work with and save them on whatever media you want.

  • Don't forget that labs can scan onto CD when you get the film developed. I use this method and it's a good way to get a picture for PSing and printing out for hanging on the wall. The lab scans are pretty good for up to about A4 sized printing and easily good enough for web work.

  • Thanks guys, I know it is a pretty dumb question, but I appreciate it none the less!!!!!

  • The answer is yes. But the output will only be as good as the input so if your files are low res your output will be low res.
